Cartography past, present and future
In an era of exciting and dramatic change cartography and cartographers must respond, or their relevance as a profession and discipline will suffer. Cartography is an applied visual discipline. In the final analysis, society will judge cartography and cartographers not only by theories, books, journals or organizations, but by the contribution made to the understanding and solution of the pressing problems of our time. -from Author
