The aeroacoustics of Blade-Vortex Interaction was numerically investigated using Large Eddy Simulation. The simulations were performed for Reynolds number, Re = 1.3 × 106, based on the chord, c, of the airfoil (NACA0012). Investigations were carried out to examine the influence of blade-vortex vertical miss distance and angle of attack on the BVI noise. It was observed that the values of sound pressure level (SPL) decreases with the increase of blade-vortex vertical miss distance.
