Efficient approximations for the four-quadrant arctangent function
Efficient approximations of the four-quadrant arctangent function have been developed using simple transformations on I and Q data. The proposed quadrant and octant based implementations can be used to achieve favorable trade-offs between computational cost and accuracy.
